When I joined my second remote company, I had no idea it would lead to an unforgettable, all-expenses-paid trip to Europe.

It all began with a simple LinkedIn message from a European company's recruiter.

At the time, nagwowork aka as Account Executive sa RingCentral (AcquireBPO) work from home but I was told that there’s still a possibility of RTO.

So, I told myself— the opportunity to join a remote-first global team was too good to pass up.

I took the leap and became a Sales and Business Development Specialist, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and creating marketing strategies for the APAC region.

Working remotely with a diverse team was incredible.

Dalawa lang kaming Filipino contractors, while the rest were Europeans.

This mix of cultures and perspectives was inspiring.

My colleagues were not only competitive but also deeply dedicated to their work, which motivated me every day.

Then came the surprise: an all-expenses-paid trip to Europe! Meeting my colleagues in person, exploring beautiful cities, and experiencing different cultures was a dream come true.

This trip wasn't just about sightseeing it was about connecting with my team on a deeper level and growing both personally and professionally.

P.S I am still connected with some of my colleagues and eventually became my good friends. (I miss you—if you are reading this)
